Ides of March Julius Caesar Plato Republic Current Events and Raisin in the Sun

For English and History teachers:  The  Ides of March  (Latin: Idus Martiae, Late Latin: Idus Martii) is a day on the Roman calendar that corresponds to 15  March . It was marked by several religious observances and was notable for the Romans as a deadline for settling debts. Julius Caesar http://www.ascension.k12.nf.ca/moodle/pluginfile.php/1944/mod_resource/content/1/No%20Fear%20Shakespeare%20JC.pdf Et  tu ,  Brute  is a Latin phrase meaning "and you, Brutus?" It is notable for its occurrence in William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, where it is spoken by the Roman dictator Julius Caesar to his friend Marcus Junius Brutus at the moment of Caesar's assassination.  Do you see any treachery in current government? Hansberry wrote "Raisin in the Sun" with some historical basis: http://news.lib.uchicago.edu/blog/2013/03/06/lorraine-hansberry-her-chicago-law-story/ What are government responsibilities for a country to be fair to all ci...
